Our sympathy and prayers go out to Nancy, Ben, and their entire family over the loss of Nancy's mom.

I believe I know the pain you feel as I lost my Mother in January 2009.  The pain will go away but the love for you Mother will live in you heart for all your days.

I rememer you Mother just like it was yesterday, always looking so nice and she was so kind to the little fat kid from down the street.  I will not forget those days of our childhood and all the great times I spent in your home with your family.

Nancy, may your family rest in the Lord and know that your Mother is now singing with the choir of Angels, "Holy, Holy, Holy."

Father, I thank You that we have a High Priest Who is able to understand and sympathize and have a fellow feeling with Nancy's grief over the loss of her Mother.  Therefore, I fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace that Nancy may receive mercy and find grace to help in good time for every need--appropriate and well-timed help, coming just when she needs it.

Father, I thank You that Nancy does not sorrow, as one who has no hope, because she believes that Jesus died and rose again; even so her loved one also who sleeps in Jesus will God bring back with Him.  I ask that You comfort Nancy, for You said, "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4).

Jesus, You have come to heal the brokenhearted.  It is in the name of Jesus that You, Father, comfort Nancy because You have loved her and have given her everlasting consolation and good hope through grace.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforts Nancy in all her tribulation, that she may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble by the comfort wherewith she herself is comforted by God.

Father, thank You for appointing unto Nancy, who mourns in Zion, to give unto her beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that she might be called a tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that You might be glorified.

In Jesus' name, amen.
