Thanks for the Best Reunion Yet!

Hi Fellow Owls of '64 --

It was great to see so many of you at the reunion. I was impressed with our numbers and the volume of loud and lively conversations, reminiscing, laughing, etc. And we all look so YOUNG! ;-)

I really enjoyed reconnecting with those I got to visit with, and only wish I'd had the time to talk to more of you. As a "still-recovering-wallflower," I found that just looking over the sea of faces and nametags (not all of which seemed to match up!) and, most of all, appreciating the fact that so many of us are still alive and well and engaged with life were my biggest rewards for attending.

A special "Thanks so very much" to all of you who took the time to show interest in my art and jewelry career, to look at my art portfolio, and/or to make such kind and encouraging comments about my latest "reinvention" of myself (or to refrain from making unkind comments :-) -- perhaps the most supportive of all!) What a fabulous group of cheerleaders we are for each other! (If you missed my "show-and-tell," it's all there on my website.)

Thanks again to everyone who helped put the reunion together -- you're a hard-working bunch of unsung heroes AND your efforts ARE appreciated. Thanks again to everyone who came to the reunion -- you all made it worthwhile for me. IMHO, this was the best reunion yet, and I'm looking forward to the next one!

Cheers!
