Fred Cloud

It is with deep sadness the Cloud family announces the death of our patriarch, Frederick Melvin Cloud.

Fred died of natural causes in his home Saturday, May 27th, at the age of 77. Fred requested not to have a service, so they will honor his wishes.

Please keep Barbara and the rest of the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Always to sad to see a fellow OWL fly into the sunset of life! Just said a Prayer for his family who was the wind beneath his wings!

Looking Back when we were together at Highlands with Fred. I only have good memories about him. Fred treated everyone as someone that cared about you.  With that said, I feel bad that he has been called home. On behalf of my wife and I, we want to send our prayers to Fred's family and friends. His loss will touch so many who cared about him so much.

I still remember Fred's towering height and his kind generous smile. May he soar like a true owl. My prayers go to his family and all whom he touched.

I remember Fred as a kind, personable, and highly intelligent guy.  I found Fred to be a really humble guy who had many talents. He always showed genuine interest  in our fellow classmates, and was a joy to be around. He was an exceptional athelete and I believe many of his track & field records stood for a long time, & may still to this day. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family at this difficult time, and I know he will be greatly missed;  and I will miss the good visits & good times we shared over the years at our class reunions.

Fred and I spent quite a bit of time (summers) together until we were about 11 or 12.  Remember all the good times and like everyone has said he was always a great guy.  On this web site and at the reunions he always called me  "Cuz"  as we were cousins. Hard to believe he was taken so young but we all know he went to a better place.

Love and prayers to  Barbara and family.
