Norris Elam

I graduated from UT/Austin in May 1969. I spent 3 years in US Army, returning to San Antonio in Jan 1972. That was when Vietnam was ending and many active duty Military were being separated from the Service, making the job market pretty tight. I took a job with Allstate in March 1972 intending to find something better as soon as possible. Found out the jobs I wanted - I wasn't qualified for -- the ones I was qualified for I was too lazy to do..... I sold my business in 2010 (38 years) and now work part time for the new owner -- filling in where needed for a few hours a week (keeping me off the street and out of Linda's hair). We take frequent travel breaks.
