I knew John in elementary school (Highland Park) and all through high school. We were not very close, but he was always nice to me. I rember him as being quiet, maybe even a little shy. I'm very sorry to learn of his death. Prayers and blessings to his family.

Knew John from elementary school through high school. Never saw him again after hs but remember him as a kind, warm, friendly person who always had a smile on his face. We were fairly close in elementary school and crossed each others lives only infrequently in hs. He was a great person and will be sorely missed by his family and those who knew him. RIP John.

Think the memory that rushes in first was when I caught my hair on fire in the Bunsen burner in Miss Smith's chemistry class and John thought quickly enough to put it out. That was a fun class...remember Billye Sue Wacker was in there as well as Charles Harrell and many others. John and I had a lot of fun times that year. I remember them fondly.
