Graduated from Texas Women's University in 1969, married in 1973, have lived in S.C., Puerto Rico, El Paso, Texas, Meridian, Ms., Florida, and Haleyville,Alabama, and in Georgia since 1984. My husband was an industrial engineer in apparel mfg. We started our residential construction company in 1985, same year I got my real estate license, and have been in the business ever since. We haven't built a new house in 7 years. My husband is a general contractor, and now does remodeling, and small projects. The last 7 years, I transitioned into resales from new homes and business is just now picking up. I am an associate broker with SouthSide Realtors, and now have 29 years as a Georgia realtor. We are active in the business community here in McDonough, Ga. as realtors and builders. In 2007, I was president of the MetroSouth chapter of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, and have been active in our local Board of Realtors throughout the last 29 years, having served in various leadership roles. We live in what was one of the fastest growing counties in the country for several years and as the economy went south, so did our business, but we remain optimistic. We are 25 miles south of Atlanta, and when the economy rebounds we will still be in a good position for future growth. Meanwhile, we continue to work, active in our church and community. I am also a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. I have been with Mary Kay for 17 years but just started working the business 4 years ago. My passion is participating in 5K's and my grandchildren. We also garden for vegetables, and raise chickens for eggs!
