I HAVE 10 GRANDCHILDREN (SOME "STEPS", BUT ALL MINE!! 7 GIRLS & 3 BOYS; and 2 great-grandchildren (1 girl & 1 boy)
MY 2 OLDEST SONS & THEIR FAMILIES LIVE IN CHATTANOOGA (8 hours from Ormond Beach). My youngest son has been in the Army for 12 years. He and his family live in El Paso where he is stationed at Ft. Bliss. They are being transferred back to Ft. Bragg, NC in February (also only 8 hours from us) YAY!
I have one surviving brother. He and his wife live in San Antonio, so I still have family there.

Well, the house sold in 7 days!! We had to be out in 30! I broke my ankle the week before the movers were coming, so this has been the most difficult move I've ever done. But, we're here in Ormond Beach now & trying to get settled in. Going from almost 4000 sq ft to 1600 "ain't easy". Had to get rid of lots of my "stuff". Painful to say the least. George Carlin did a whole "bit" about your "stuff". It was great & really true!!


We are 5 miles from Daytona Beach and 1 1/2 hours from Orlando & Disney, Universal, etc. Sooo -- we are hoping the kids will visit often.

I'm really looking forward to the 50th reunion in Oct. Hoping there will be "new" faces that haven't been attending. Where are you Herbert Bradley?? I also, hope that Gersey Vaughn will be back this time.

Please say someone is planning a Saturday lunch get-together again. It was a nice addition to the last reunion.

MR. GEISER HAD ME BRING IN MY "MEET THE BEATLES" ALBUM (THE BLUE ONE) & WE PLAYED IT IN CLASS. IN MY YEARBOOK PART OF WHAT HE WROTE WAS, "EVEN IF WE DON'T AGREE ON THE BEATLES!! (20 YEARS FROM NOW, YOU WON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT THIS MEANS)" BOY, WAS HE WRONG!!

MR. CRAWFORD (HISTORY) HE & HIS WIFE WERE SO COOL. WE HAD A GREAT TIME ON THE "1ST ANNUAL (& PROBABLY LAST) MISSION TRAIL HIKE".

I WAS ALSO CRAZY ABOUT MS. BRIGGS (ART). I STILL USE SOME OF THE "ARTISTIC" POINTERS THAT SHE GAVE ME 45 YEARS AGO (& THINK OF HER EVERY TIME).

MR. KALEEM HAZER (ALGEBRA) WAS ANOTHER FAVE. HE TRIED TO CONVINCE ME THAT I WAS REALLY A SMART MATH STUDENT & HE COULD GET ME A MATH SCHOLARSHIP IF I WOULD JUST STOP LAYING OUT OF SCHOOL "SICK". I CAN NOW BARELY ADD 2 PLUS 2 WITHOUT A CALCULATOR!!

IT WAS THE BEST ONE EVER!! I REALLY ENJOYED THE LUNCHEON ON SAT. WE SHOULD DO THIS EVERY REUNION. THE ROUND-TABLE "BIOS" WERE GREAT!!

Hopefully Embassy Suites will have more wait staff this time around. They probably lost a lot of sales because it was taking so long to get food. It is such a great place for our Fri night get-together.
