I taught Kindergarten in a private Christian school for 25 years. What a joy to teach beginning skills-especially teaching children how to read! I also loved to teach the children about the Bible and introduce them to the Lord! During that time, I also tutored students throughout elementary that needed a little extra help with their work.

Now that I am retired from the classroom, I tutor students privately throughout the school year and summer. I really enjoy teaching one-on-one. My students are in elementary and middle school.

Mikel and I have lived in San Antonio for most of our marriage. We got married between our Junior and Senior years in college. We were going to NTSU in Denton. We had a double wedding with Roger Freeman and my twin Carolyn. We just celebrated our 47th Anniversary!


I feel so blessed! God has been so good to me and my family.
